Chuck Sparks isn’t a pyromaniac, but he loves starting fires. He’s a driven individual with an intense passion for leadership and motivation. In his role as owner/broker of e21 Realty, there’s nothing that inspires him more than making sparks fly and igniting the “fires” inside each of his associates.Every Opportunity Counts
Those who know Chuck best will tell you he’s a man who practices what he preaches. An Alabama native, he’s someone whose passion, energy and enthusiasm are always on display. Whether it’s quality time with his bride, Melissa, daughter, Leighanne and granddaughters Adahlia, Isis & Bishop, or a road trip in his ultra-fast sports car, he’s never been the type of guy to sit still and watch the world pass by. He’d much rather get out, dig in and make the most of every opportunity.
The Sparks of Success
The sparks of Chuck’s professional success began early. First with the Handy TV appliance store chain, where he worked his way up from delivery to service to sales, then managing and opening new stores. Next, with R.P. McDavid, he headed sales and training for 10 appliance and electronics stores for all of the Jefferson Home Furniture locations in Alabama.
During those years, he noticed a lack of service and repair companies for the electronic and appliance industry. Chuck seized the opportunity and opened Service Care, which grew in just a few 6 years to become the largest independent electronic and appliance repair center for all major brands throughout Alabama. After just nine years he was able to sell his shares to seed his real estate career. Throughout these experiences, he showed a mind for business, a visionary style and an undeniable drive to excel.
The Perfect Fit
Chuck’s innate leadership, coaching and motivational abilities made him a perfect fit in the real estate industry, first with two large real estate franchises and later with the third-largest independent real estate company in Birmingham. Again, Chuck saw an opportunity to create something new, exciting and truly special—a real estate company focused on the success of its agents. When he founded e21 Realty, it was another dream realized.
Chuck will tell you one of the most exciting aspects of his career as broker and owner is recruiting talented, motivated agents, whether it’s experienced agents looking to take their production and income levels to new heights or new agents who bring a strong mind for business and drive to make a big splash in the industry. “I love being a part of people’s personal and professional successes,” Chuck says. “That’s why I take such pride in my role, coaching them and keeping them on track toward their goals.”
